The 2024 Tough Ruck begins on Carr Rd. adjacent to the Fenn School heading East.

Turn left into the driveway of the Fenn School parking lot, continue through the parking lot to Monument St.

Turn Left onto Monument St. and continue for approximately 3/4 mile to Reformatory Branch Trail.

Turn left onto the Reformatory Branch Trail and continue approximately 0.6 Miles.

Turn Right onto the trail along the West side of the Comeau Field.

Follow the path around the field passing Water Stop #1 before returning to and turning right to continue along the Reformatory Branch Trail. 

Continue along Reformatory Branch Trail, crossing Rt. 62 until reaching the end of the trail at Railroad Ave. 

Turn Right onto Railroad Ave. and continue to South Rd. 

Cross South Rd. and enter the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway, Water Stop #2 will be on the left of the trail at Bedford Depot.

Continue approximately 1.5 miles to Hartwell Ave. 

Turn Left onto Hartwell Ave.

1/4 Mile down Hartwell Ave. make a U-Turn and return to the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway. 

Turn Left onto the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway.

Cross Rt. 4 and Water Stop #3 will be on your right in the Lexington Public Services parking lot. 

Continue along the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway to Hancock St.

Turn Right on Hancock St.  Hancock St. turns to Bedford St. passing Buckman Tavern. 

Turn Left onto Meriam St. 

Turn Right onto the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway. 

Continue along the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway for 1 mile to Water Stop #3 on your Right at Tower Park.

Continue 1.5 Miles to Bow St. 

Turn around at the marked spot at Bow St. 

Return 1.5 Miles along the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway to Tower Park and Water Stop #5 on your Left. 

Continue 1 mile along the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway.

Turn Left on Meriam St. 

Turn Right on Bedford St. Passing Buckman Tavern. 

Turn Left onto the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway.

Continue along the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway. Approximately 300 ft. prior to Rt. 4, Water Stop #6 is located in the Lexington Public Services parking lot. 

Cross Rt. 4 and continue along the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway to Hartwell Ave. 

Turn Right onto Hartwell Ave. 

1/4 Mile down Hartwell Ave. make a U-Turn and return to the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway. 

Turn Right onto the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway.

Continue approximately 1.5 miles to Water Stop #7 at Bedford Depot. 

Continue to South Rd and Cross to Railroad Ave.

Continue along Railroad Ave to Reformatory Branch Trail. 

Follow Reformatory Branch Trail crossing Rt. 62. 

Turn Left onto the road at the Comeau Field, passing Water Stop #8.

Follow the path around Comeau Field before turning Left onto Reformatory Branch Trail.

Follow Reformatory Branch Trail to Monument St.

Turn Right onto Monument St. 

Follow Monument St for 1/4 mile to the North Bridge trail. 

Turn Left onto the North Bridge trail

Cross the North Bridge and circle around the statue before returning across the North Bridge back to Monument St. 

Turn Right onto Monument St. 

Turn Right onto Lowell Rd.

Turn Right onto Liberty St.

Follow Liberty St. to the right at Estabrook St. and down the hill to Monument St. 

Turn Left on Monument St. 

Turn Right onto Carr Rd. to the Finish Line.
